IP to Hexadecimal

Description

This operation converts an IP address (either IPv4 or IPv6) to its hexadecimal representation.


Data types

These are the input/output expected data types for this operation:

Input data

- IP addresses to be converted.

Output data

- Hexadecimal representations of the input IP addresses.


Example

Suppose you want to transform your IP addresses into their hexadecimal codes. To do it:

  1. In your Pipeline, open the required Action configuration and select the input Field.

  2. In the Operation field, choose IP to hexadecimal.

  3. Give your Output field a name and click Save. Your IP addresses will be converted.

For example:

192.168.1.1 -> c0a80101

You can try out operations with specific values using the Input field above the operation. You can enter the value in the example above and check the result in the Output field.
