## Example

Suppose you want to **divide** a series of numbers in your input strings. They are separated by colons (:). To do it:

1. In your Pipeline, open the required [Action](https://docs.onum.com/the-workspace/pipelines/actions) configuration and select the input **Field**.
2. In the **Operation** field, choose **Divide**.
3. Set **Delimiter** to **Colon**.
4. Give your **Output field** a name and click **Save**. You'll get the division results. For example:

```
Input data - "26:2:4"
Delimiter - Colon
Output data - 3.25
```
